HOurBank

HOurBank is a local ‘Timebank’ project run by the Peckham Settlement, which involves people ‘depositing’ hours of their time by doing something practical for someone else and in return are able to ‘withdraw’ their time when they need something done themselves. Everyone’s time is valued equally with each hour deposited being worth a one-hour time credit to spend. We currently have over 120 HOurBank members each exchanging their time and skills with others and taking part in regular social events such as barbeques and outings.
