About Peckham Settlement

The Peckham Settlement is a multi-purpose community organisation that has been serving the Peckham area for almost 115 years. We currently deliver a range of projects including a 58-place nursery, a local timebank (HOurBank), Southwark Travellers Action Group, programmes for children and families through East Peckham Children’s Centre, clubs and activities for older people and a range of youth work.

We run a large community centre in the centre of Peckham that includes a community IT suite, space for community activities, meetings and training events, and hotdesks and office space for community groups. Over the next few years we will redevelop our premises to ensure they are fit for purpose for the 21st Century.

The Peckham Settlement is a registered charity (number 215925) and a company limited by guarantee (number 255374). Our work is delivered by around 30 staff and 40 volunteers and is overseen by a board of trustees known as the Executive Committee. We have an annual turnover of approximately £800,000.
